The American Freedom 14u coaching staff includes a combined total of over 30 years of coaching experience. The coaching staff is lead by Head Coach Tom Pierce and includes Assistant Head Coaches Tom McGuire, Tom LeBeau and Horacio Garcia. The philosophy is simple, we teach the highest level of the game in an effort to prepare our players for collegiate recruiting and competition. We as a group are dedicated to working together as a team to instruct our players to compete with the level of effort and integrity required to achieve excellence. We accomplish this by developing in our players an unsurpassed work ethic, discipline, and love for the game. Additionally, our staff is committed to marketing the American Freedom Program and it’s players to all levels of collegiate softball. |

Bio: Tom McGuire (Coach TM), joins the other coaches in forming and molding the new 14U American Freedom Fastpitch team into one of the premier teams in the nation. His unique style of coaching and teamwork helps push the girls to become the best that each one can be through positive reinforcement and educated coaching strategies. He has a vision of success for each girl and helps them achieve their dreams in fastpitch softball. He began his fastpitch coaching career with the Flower Mound Rage fastpitch club in 2002. Tom was born and bred a "New Yorker" and currently lives in Flower Mound, TX with his wife Mary and their three children; Michael (15), Kelly(13) and Will (7). He enjoys spending time with his family and friends as well as supporting all three children in their various athletic and personal endeavors. |

Bio: TL grew up in a baseball and fastpitch softball family. His playing career includes high school and college level as a catcher. He began his coaching career in 1997 with his oldest son Cameron’s tee-ball team. He began coaching his daughter Hannah’s softball team in 2001 and became a select/travel coach in 2004 with the 8u “Wellington Wild” in Wellington, FL. He currently lives in Keller, TX with his wife Jill and their four children; Cameron (16), Dylan (14), Hannah (13) and Abby (7). He enjoys family time, working in his yard, and coaching. |

Bio: Hero grew up in Managua, Nicaragua moving to the U.S. in 1985 where he attended and graduated from Lewisville High School. While attending LHS he played 3 years as the varsity catcher, as well as a 4 year of football career. Additionally he played for the Dallas Metro League Baseball Association from 1994-1998, and was selected to play in the All-Star game. Hero began his coaching career in 1999 with his son Antonio's baseball team. He began coaching his daughter Selena’s softball team in 2003and became a select/travel coach in the fall of 2003 with the 95’ RAGE. He currently lives in Lewisville, TX with his wife Michelle and 2 of their 3 children; Antonio (19) currently a student and basketball player for Schreiner University in Kerrville, TX, Selena (13) and Jasmine (9). |
